Happy Holidays! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. Today's blog post is all about Julie Nutting Doll Stamps. I have six of them and decided to dress them up for Christmas. In this post, you will learn quick and easy ways to create their outfits, skin color and hair. So cute! These would make pretty slimline greeting cards or use them in a mini album. Take a look. Then, patterned paper for her coat. Jayla is all dressed with pearl earrings, patterned paper coat and brown markers for her skin and hair. Also, I used a red glitter gel pen for shoes. Phoebe was created with a brown marker for skin and a black marker for hair. Then, pearls for the necklace. The dress was red cardstock and candy patterned papers. Merry Christmas! A few days ago, I wanted to make some art for my home. Since, I have been doing a lot of watercolor   art journaling pages  and  YouTube videos ,  I thought I would use that style for this painting. In addition to watercolors, I used my acrylic paint markers for the ornaments and headpiece. Then, I used red glitter on her top. This "celebrate" girl is encouraging us to celebrate the birth of Christ and think about all the good He offers us. If you need comfort and peace this season, He is here for us. Also, she is inspiring us to celebrate ourselves and all the big and small things we did throughout the year. Give yourself the gift of appreciation. You are doing a great job, really! I am wishing you all a wonderful Christmas! We hope this art and message fills your home and heart with comfort and joy. God bless!

If you love arts and crafts, you will enjoy visiting and participating at  HobbyScool . They host multiple online craft events throughout the year. These events are full of great teachers and inspiration. I signed-up for their holiday event and it was so well organized with a variety of crafts. Also, these events are free with a VIP upgrade. The next online workshop is called "Creative Vision" Retreat and will be held January 20-22, 2026. This event will be great to help you prepare for the new year.   They also have a community section where you can interact with other crafters. I love it when these events have there own chat section. In my opinion, it makes it easy to watch the videos and on the same site, chat and share pictures. So cool! Over 10 years ago, I stumbled upon art journaling and boy was I thrilled. I used to watch artists Donna Downey and Julie Fei Fan Balzer's YouTube videos regularly and learned so much.  As I began this fun discovery, I found it to be surprisingly soothing, exciting and therapeutic.  This was one of my first journal pages from 2013. In this blog post, I will share with you my definition of art journaling, my experience and some resources for you to try. What is art journaling? This is a form of journaling that uses art supplies like inks, acrylic paints, markers, stamps or even patterned papers to express your feelings of the day.  Just use your supplies with or without words and have fun. Art journaling is about the process and not the outcome.   In the process is where you will find stress relief, joy, mindfulness and/or whatever you need in the moment.
