Heidi Swapp's Boxed Card Mini Albums

Happy August! Today's post is about Heidi Swapp's cute hard cover mini albums. This Summer, I watched her album class on Scrapbook Dot Com. She used a box of cards to make them. I was so inspired that I had to try it. After I made my first one, I was hooked!!! LOL! I thought it was so clever to use prefolded cards. It saved me time and effort and allowed me to get into the embellishing steps quicker. I love embellishing!!!

All you need is some adhesive, a box of cards and chip board or another firm paper product. I also used patterned paper to make the "Seal Beach" album. So you can make them with the box of cards or patterned paper.
Heidi Swapp's "Art Walk" is from Joann and the Maggie Holmes' boxed cards are from Amazon.

Check out my "Boxed Cards & Mini Albums" YouTube tutorial HERE.

Here are more pictures of these albums.

This is the first page in the album with the bow.

I love this page!
For the "Seal Beach" album, I used my Heidi's "Art Walk" 6x8 paper pad, washi tape and stickers. I wanted to see if folding my own paper would be much more time consuming compared to the boxed  cards method. It was but still a possibility if you don't have any boxed cards.
I hand made the flower and leaves.

I love how this albums turned out! I hope you will try it. It definitely would wow your loved one as a gift.
