While the pandemic was devastating there were some good moments that happened in 2020. For years, I had dreamed of creating YouTube crafting tutorials and last year in the mist of the stressful times, I got started. My channel is called K. Simone Designs and I would love for you to visit and subscribe if you haven't. Join the inspiration party!
June of 2020, I posted my first tutorial called, "Mini Album Card." Did you see it? I was so excited to share my favorite mini album card with the world. I had been making them for years and this video got a great reception.
Since then, I have continued to learn and grow in my videos. I am so proud of my progress and determination to stick with it in spite of the highs and lows. I hope you all have enjoyed the variety of content I have produced. My goal was to inspire you and based on the comments, I think I met that objective. Yay! :)
Let's look at some of my YouTube stats as of today.

Some of my favorite YouTube moments!
Crafting Author and TV personality Mark Montano made these cute mini journals and I decided to try it out. I did and made a video about my version of his journals. Then, he left me this cool comment and also left love for me on his Facebook page!
Alicia of Call Me {Crafty} Al Sheetload of Cards posted this message to her YouTube community and as a result, that video has gone VIRAL! (This video is still growing, too!)
One of my favorite videos was, "Husband Scrapbooks with Me." I loved making this video with my dear husband, Ron. This was his first time scrapbooking and joining one of my videos. We had so much fun and hope to do another video again.
In addition to my papercrafting videos, I created my first art series called "Story Time With..." In these videos, I shared art I made from years ago, their meaning and my life lessons.
Well, that is it for now but again thanks to you all for your support and I look forward to making more fun videos this year. Be inspired!
Congrats on your channel and on the number of people who have enjoyed your art. I hope you keep it up and try new ideas. You do lovely work. I enjoy watching you.

DeleteCongratulations on your YouTube 1 Year Anniversary, Honey! It's hard to believe that it has just been 1 year. You have created so much content during that timeframe. I am proud of you for all of the well done and very inspirational videos that you have created (even in spite of your challenging times). Looking forward to many more videos in the future. Ron
