Free 12 Days of Cardmaking Classes @ Michaels

Do you like making holiday cards and need some inspiration and ideas? Well, Michaels is currently hosting their free, live "12 Days Of Cardmaking" online classes. These classes started on November 1, 2024 and will go until the 12th. Each day different instructors presents their card design and lesson. These classes are live on Zoom and you can ask questions in the chat.

Here is the link to Michael's online course page. Look for the 12 Days of Cardmaking classes spread throughout the page. You just register for the classes you like and that is it. Also, they have other fun classes you might be interested in.

Every class is recorded and will be available for viewing 24 to 48 hours after the class. This is great if you miss a class or need to see the steps of a card in a slower way. Michael's YouTube Channel Link

I do like that they are offering a variety of card styles and skill levels. Here is November 4, 2024 project called "The Beginner's Guide to Cricut's Holiday Cards."

Joann & Studio Calico Hauls

Do you like to journal or scrapbook? Well, look at these fun supplies I recently got from Joann and Studio Calico . I can use a lot of these goodies in my traveler's notebooks, cards and layouts. My First Diary and 3 Journaling Styles

Welcome! Today's post is about my experience with journaling and three of my favorite styles. This post was written May 21, 2020. Journaling has been a part of my life since my pre-teen years. Like most girls, I kept a diary and hid it in a secret place. I think I got my first one as a gift and wrote about daily and special events. I remember there was this cute boy I met. I was too shy to tell anyone I liked him so I wrote about it in my diary. It was a safe place to share these new and wonderful feelings. I gotta find that journal and check it out.
