Inspired Me 411

 I have tried so many crafts over the years and now I am adding embroidery to my resume. Have you tried it before? Last year, I watched so many virtual craft classes and was inspired with all sorts of crafts. One of the classes I took was cross stitch with the Stitch People . I loved watching the instructor create her design with such joy. I wanted to try an easier beginning version so I ran across embroidery stitching on Amazon. They had lots of low cost starter kits. I bought one and was surprised how relaxing it was once I got the hang of it. Plus, I love that the design was lightly printed on the canvas so you didn't have to figure out where to put the stitches.  Didn't I do a fantastic job? LOL! Do you like to play with jigsaw puzzles? I love them! I know many people did puzzles during the pandemic to relax while at home. In fact on Facebook, Oprah Winfrey posted about playing a puzzle with partner Stedman Graham in the early days of quarantine May 2020.  Last Fall 2021, my grief and depression flared up. I needed to take a break from some of my regular creative activities and was looking for some alternatives. I remembered I got a puzzle  a while back as a gift and dived into it. Boy, this was perfect medicine!  It was a fun diversion to help take my mind off the things. I worked on it regularly and it melted the stress away as my mind focused on the pieces and how they fit together.
